Watch Our Real Journey Unfold
We're about to document something we've never done before: become eBike riders.
No scripts. No acting. No polished production team. Just two people figuring this out as we go, with cameras rolling.
Why Video Matters
Reading about eBikes is one thing. Watching someone actually ride one is different. You'll see exactly what it's like for two first-timers to open an eBike for the first time. Real reactions to how the motor feels. Honest assessment of comfort. What 50+ bodies actually experience on climbs. Where things go wrong and how we handle it. Genuine moments, not manufactured drama.
Video is where the real story lives.
What We're Not Doing
No scripts. We're not planning out every word. If we ramble, stumble, or disagree, that's the actual content.
No acting. We're not pretending to be someone we're not. You'll see us—nervous, curious, excited, frustrated, whatever is real.
No sponsorship bias. Nobody is paying us to say positive things. Our opinions come from actual experience, not paychecks.
No fake production quality. We have cameras and mics. We don't have a Hollywood budget. The content matters more than the polish.
No fictional moments. Everything you see is actually happening.
Our Video Categories
Category 1: Unboxing & First Impressions
Length: 15-20 minutes
What you'll see: Bikes arriving, opening boxes, assembly, first reactions
Why this matters: First experience with an eBike is important. You'll see exactly what to expect when yours arrives.
Category 2: First Rides (Week 1-2)
Length: 20-30 minutes per ride
What you'll see: Getting on bikes for real, learning controls, initial motor engagement, both perspectives
Why this matters: First rides are nerve-wracking. Seeing real people doing it with actual uncertainty is more valuable than watching experts.
Category 3: The Test Rides (Week 3-6)
Length: 25-40 minutes per route
What you'll see: Tanner Creek, Hidden Springs, Mary S. Young, Heritage route, Long Range test
Format: Carlos rides (performance), Paige rides (comfort), GPS overlay, real challenges
Category 4: Honest Assessments
What you'll see: Both of us together reviewing what we learned, separate perspectives, disagreements, surprises
Why this matters: This is the conversation you want to have with someone who just tested something. No sales pitch. Just honest assessment.
Category 5: Long-Term Updates (3, 6, 12 Months)
What you'll see: How the bike is holding up, mechanical issues, battery degradation, durability observations
Our Video Production Approach
Authenticity over production quality. If the audio is imperfect because we're riding, that's fine. If the lighting is challenging because we're testing in real weather, that's the point.
Content over editing. We'll trim out obvious dead time, but if we're figuring something out on camera, you'll see that process.
Transparent process. You'll understand what we tested, how we tested it, and what we measured. No hidden cuts that make things look better than they were.
Real conversations. When we disagree about something, you'll hear the actual discussion. When we're uncertain, you'll see the uncertainty.
