Ride With Us

Starting this month, we're planning monthly group rides for eBike riders in West Linn.

Not organized tours. Not social clubs. Just people discovering what's possible together.

Why We're Doing This

Every pedal stroke becomes meaningful when you're discovering something new with others asking the same questions. Community isn't just about meeting people—it's about building understanding together.

Paige and I are about to start our own eBike journey. We realized immediately that having others along would transform what we learn. The conversations. The shared discoveries. The mutual encouragement when something feels hard.

That's what we're building.

What These Rides Look Like

Relaxed Pace

Not racing. Not training. Exploring together at a pace where we can talk, breathe, and actually enjoy being outside.

Real Routes on Real Terrain

Tanner Creek for confidence building. Heritage routes for exploration. Longer loops for those wanting to push themselves.

Mixed Difficulty

Different routes so different fitness levels can participate. Nobody gets left behind. Nobody feels pressured.

Regular Stops

For catching breath, taking in views, and actually talking with each other.

Coffee or Meal at the End

The real community time happens after the ride, sitting together, sharing stories.

Who This Is For

You're 50+ (or thereabouts)

You're curious about eBikes (you might have one, you might be thinking about it)

You want to explore (genuine interest in getting out and experiencing things)

You value authenticity (no pretense, no gatekeeping, real people)

You're ready to discover (what you're capable of, what eBikes can do, what West Linn has to offer)

How to Join

Email us: [email protected]
Subject: "Add me to group rides"

Tell us your name, whether you have an eBike yet, and your interest level. That's it.

We'll send you details about our first ride—date, time, route, what to bring.

Our Ground Rules

Honesty: We tell the truth about what's challenging and what's amazing.

Respect: Different fitness levels. Different comfort levels. Different stories. All welcome.

Inclusion: Health conditions, limited experience, concerns about age—none of that disqualifies you.

No Judgment: You're trying something new. That takes courage. We celebrate that.

Community First: Every decision we make is about genuine connection, not maximizing size or scope.

What Success Looks Like

Month 1: A handful of curious people ready to explore together.

Month 3: Regular rides. People discovering they can do things they thought were impossible.

Month 6: A real community supporting each other, sharing discoveries, growing together.

Year 1: A movement proving that 50+ eBike riders are changing the game—and that community built on honesty and genuine connection actually matters.

An Invitation

What started as our personal curiosity is becoming something bigger. Every pedal stroke matters more when you're discovering it with others.

That's the actual journey. That's what we're building.

You're invited to be part of it.
